Fifthly, about clothing…It's going to be nice and warm while you're here. Shorts and t-shirts will probably be fine most of the time. It stays warm at night, so it's probably best to bring a pair of sleeping shorts and a light t-shirt to sleep in. You may want to bring a couple of changes of smart clothing for special occasions. Almost every home and church in SA doesn't have aircon, so be preparedJ Spare a thought for all of us who have to ware several layers of robbing in church on Sunday mornings! Although the temperatures don't rise to the extremes of Texas here, there is no respite from it in the home, so it does appear to be relentlessly hot. It takes some getting used to, but you'll be fine. Also be prepared for the wind. The "South-easter", as it is affectionately known, blows almost every day. You'll probably find that if the wind isn't blowing in the morning, we'll jump into the car and go to the beach and enjoy it while it lasts.
